Mileage Rates

The 2025 standard mileage rates for the use of a car (including vans, pickups or panel trucks) are:

• 70 cents per mile for business miles driven
• 21 cents per mile for medical purposes
• 14 cents per mile for charitable driving.

The 2026 standard mileage rates for the use of a car (including vans, pickups or panel trucks) are:

• 72.5 cents per mile for business miles driven
• 20.5 cents per mile for medical purposes
• 14 cents per mile for charitable driving.

Be sure to keep a log of all business mileage. These rates also apply to hybrid and electric vehicles.
